To Earn PestWorld Credit Update Your License Applicator Number

This year at Pestworld we will be tracking attendance exclusively using electronic badge scanning. For NPMA to submit the credit you earn from attending Pestworld 2021, we will need your license applicator number updated in your online account. We cannot submit credit to the state(s) where you hold a license unless this information is added to your account.

**Pennsylvania and New Jersey applicators: please add your date of birth to your User Profile

**Colorado applicators: please update your User Profile with your home address per Colorado attendance requirements

The NPMA PestWorld 2021 conference in Las Vegas from October 2 – October 5th is approved for recertification credit for pesticide applicators (licensees and technicians) in structural pest control in Louisiana.

For recertification, the Louisiana Structural Pest Control Commission requires structural licensees to receive a minimum of six (6) hours of pest control/pesticide instruction with one (1) hour of instruction in each phase area - 1) General Pest Control, 2) Commercial Vertebrate Control, and 3) Termite (Wood Destroying Insect) Control and/or 4), 5), & 6) Structural, Ship, and Commodity Fumigation. Recertification for technicians is a minimum of four (4) hours. Therefore, licensees and technicians that participate in the conference must attend and obtain verification of at least the minimum number of hours in the various phases listed above.

Based on a review of the agenda (attached), the conference meets the requirements for recertification in the following phases:

  1. General Pest Control
  2. Commercial Vertebrate Control (Rodent), and/or
  3. Termite (Wood Destroying Insect) Control

Recertification will be approved only for the certified applicators that complete at least six (6) educational sessions during the 3-day program. If she/he does not attend one of the required sessions, the participant will not receive recertification credit. On site, VA applicators must pick up a copy of the Virginia Regulatory Update. If the requirements listed above are met, Virginia applicators may receive recertification for attending.
